Staff Bios

Becca Korte is the Owner and Director of Skin Deep Clinical Skin Care & Day Spa in Harker Heights, Texas.  Skin Deep has been a thriving Day Spa since 2000 and offers a large variety of services, including but not limited to, clinical skin care, massage, hair and nail services and medical services such as Botox, Restylane and Laser Treatments.  

Becca Korte has been a licensed Esthetician since 1998, received Advanced Certification from Central Texas College in Medical Aesthetics and Advanced Micro-Pigmentation, in 2001. 

Becca is certified by the State of Texas in Laser Treatments.  She has been performing these procedures for over 9 years.  She is also is certified by the American Institute of Intra-dermal Cosmetics for permanent makeup, scar camouflage and has worked with Plastic Surgeons in restoring pigment to areolas after reconstructive surgery post mastectomys and cleft palate disfigurement.  She began enhancing client eyebrows and eyeliners while working at the Eye Center of Central Texas. This service was client requested to aid people who were unable to see well enough to apply their makeup due to a visual or physical condition.  She is the only one in the Central Texas area who uses a manual method of implantation of pigment.  This procedure helps minimize any swelling or bruising.  She also uses a rotary machine that is less traumatic to the delicate tissue of the face.  

In 1993 Becca Korte worked as the Clinical Director for The Eye Center and also performed as a Scrub Technician in surgery procedures.  She assisted the physicians in implementing the CO2 Laser for Cosmetic Eye and Skin Rejuvenation and developed the Aesthetic Department at the Eye Center of Central Texas in Temple, Texas.  She continues to maintain numerous skin care procedures and continues to expand in medically directed treatments for advanced chemical peels, latest state of the art treatments for Laser Hair Removal, brown spot removal and advanced treatment for broken capillaries on the face and spider vein removal.  Becca Korte has been involved in Clinical skin care management since 1993 and has extensive experience in hyper pigmentation, acne skin treatments, ethnic skin care and pre and post op care for cosmetic surgery procedures.  She also trained, personally, with Dr. Fam at Biomani in 2000 for acne treatments and medical esthetics. 

Current at Skin Deep, Skin Deep currently holds and has held the title in the category of “Skin Care” by the Killeen Daily Herald for seven out of eight years.  Becca continues her education on a yearly basis and has just recently implemented a new anti-aging procedure for skin rejuvenation for improving sun-damage, rough texture and acne scars.  It is painless and cost effective with little or no downtime.  This procedure is unique to Skin Deep and will be offered starting Sept 1^st.  She strives to offer state of the art treatments for her clientele and maintain high standards for all employees who work for her.
